The 2022 offseason was an amazing one for big-name quarterback movement. Russell Wilson to Denver. Deshaun Watson to Cleveland. Carson Wentz to Washington. Matt Ryan to Indy. Tom Brady to retirement and back. Aaron Rodgers to … well, nowhere, because it seems, but that was its own fun drama for some time.
It has left us wanting more.
So while we’re excited to get this NFL season began, we will not help looking beyond it just just a little and wondering what the 2023 offseason might offer when it comes to quarterback movement. Who can be the disappointments shipped out before their contracts start looking bad? Who can be the big-name vets who need to play elsewhere? Who can be in line for the large extensions and turn into restless in the event that they do not get them?
We did this last yr — taking a look at teams with unsettled QB situations and what might occur — and we hit on a couple of of them. So we’re doing it again.
