Tottenham boss Antonio Conte has had a busy transfer period this summer, having signed six players thus far. Based on recent reports from various sources, Conte is removed from done and now targets Roma’s Zaniolo.
CMW allege that Juve, who reportedly also want Zaniolo after losing Dybala to Roma, want Tottenham’s Lucas Moura too.
Their (CMW) report revealed Conte’s determination to get Zaniolo regardless of the price, so he’ll probably be open to an exchange deal involving Nicolo and Moura with Juventus.
Roma, who’ve thus far rejected all proposals are said to have demanded 50m Euro’s for Zaniolo and won’t lower their price despite negotiations with the Spurs and the Old Lady.
The English and Italian interested parties haven’t given up though, even with the newest worrying reports (Romapress) that Roma aren’t in the least thinking about selling the 23-year old.
Each side will go so far as disposing off a few of their expendable players to lift funds for Zaniolo (report by Tuttosport), who isn’t just great in midfield but on the wings and on the front.
Though Antonio is able to go all out, he may very well be on the losing end if Juve, whom Zaniolo supposedly was a fan of in his childhood, manage to get an appropriate price for the Italian.
Spurs want to bolster their midfield and attack, while dethroned Juventus almost desperately need a Dybala substitute, so who will dig deeper into their pockets?
That aside, if Roma really sells, will Zaniolo decide to expand his horizons in England or stay home in Italy?
