Atletico Madrid are reportedly pursuing Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga this summer.
The Englishman has struggled to get game time at Tottenham over the previous couple of seasons, especially under Conte.
Tanganga may consider moving out of the club, with Antonio Conte spending heavily this summer to rebuild his squad.
In accordance with Mundo Deportivo, Atletico Madrid are on the 23-year-old’s radar. He’ll almost actually play first-team football for Atletico.
Tanganga made his Premier League start against Liverpool, bursting onto the scene. Following up on his stellar performance against Middlesbrough within the cup, the teenage defender produced one other outstanding outing.
The 23-year-old’s future seemed promising but hasn’t progressed since then.
Tanganga’s versatility has piqued the eye of Spanish club Atletico Madrid. The product of the Tottenham academy can play centre-back, right-back, and even left-back.
Tanganga could possibly be trained to begin at right back instead of Kieran Trippier this summer, since Atletico hasn’t found a substitute for Trippier since he left for Newcastle in January.
