Beauty and the Geek star Mike reveals the one thing he regrets about his dramatic makeover – as Heidi says he was ‘already a ten’ with the beard and daggy clothes
Beauty and the Geek stars Mike and Heidi discussed his incredible makeover on Today Extra on Thursday.
Following his transformation on Wednesday’s episode, Mike still sported the identical polished look complete with a sensible pink shirt for his morning TV appearance.
When hosts David Campbell and Sylvia Jeffreys remarked on the absence of his bushy beard, Mike said that was the one thing he regretted about his makeover.

‘It’s winter so it is a bit cold. I type of miss it a little bit, you understand,’ he said.
Mike continued: ‘But in addition, at the identical time, the reception from last night has just been amazing. I do not think I will be growing the beard that big ever again!’
The Batman fanatic, 20, went on to say he normally ‘hates being clean shaven’ and hadn’t cut his beard short in a protracted time.
‘I don’t love being so young, and the beard makes me look older,’ he said. ‘That was just all the time my thing, so I’ve all the time grown it.’

Heidi, also 20, who’s paired up with Mike as his beauty, said she was ‘gobsmacked’ by her geek’s transformation, saying: ‘Obviously he looked absolutely incredible.
‘And I did ensure that they would depart a little bit little bit of stubble, knowing that he was scared in regards to the baby face.
‘The largest thing was just his confidence. Like right away I could tell how much it went up. He was only a brand recent person.
‘I’m happy with him because he deserved it and I’m blissful that he can finally feel so good in himself. But I did already think he was a ten.’

Mike was the primary geek to undergo a change this season and emerged looking like a bona-fide movie star on Tuesday’s episode.
Having previously worn a red Mickey Mouse T-shirt before his appointment with Nine’s style team, he emerged on stage sporting a clean-cut look.
He cut a cool and casual figure in a striped button-up shirt and fitted grey blazer.
Heidi, also 20, who’s paired up with Mike as his beauty, said she was ‘gobsmacked’ by her geek’s transformation, adding: ‘But I did already think he was a ten’
Mike said: ‘I’ve never actually been called hot before. But I’m feeling it now.’
Through the makeover, he revealed he was sensitive about his height after being rejected by a former crush for not being tall enough.
He also said he had been hiding behind his beard since it made him feel more ‘comfortable’, but not confident.

‘I believe I’m ready to depart not-confident Mike behind. Mike after the makeover… Bruce Wayne,’ he said.
His recent self-assurance was felt by Heidi, who remarked: ‘It was like someone has just switched a light-weight on inside him. He just shone.’
