There once more wasn’t a dry eye in the home on Saturday night’s episode of Britain’s Got Talent.
The judges were left holding back tears as a choir of frontline staff, including NHS and emergency service staff, took to the stage with a poignant performance.
The act, which was described as ‘an incredible moment’, made a specific impact on Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Ant McPartlin – who were left fighting a wave of emotions.

The Frontline Singers, who’re made up of members aged 24 to 62, sang an original song concerning the Covid-19 pandemic.
They explained that the aim of the song was to bring ‘hope, unity and something positive out of all we have been through’.
After their performance, the group received a standing ovation from the 4 judges and the audience, with David Walliams dubbing the audition ‘an incredible moment’.

The overwhelming response sent some members of the group to tears, as Alesha teased: ‘Oh don’t cry, you will set me off!’
‘I discovered that basically moving actually, I actually did. So poignant, so lovely. We’re in debt to you on your services. It was very touching,’ she continued.
Amanda struggled to carry back her emotion as a tear ran down her face, telling the group: ‘It’s just wonderful that we will be a part of all of it really, and that you just get it. Since it was tremendous’

Before they singers left with 4 yesses, Simon Cowell took a moment to point out his admiration, explaining: ‘What we have passed through within the last two years, it’s surreal. And out of it, comes moments like this.
‘It gives us a likelihood to say thanks to all of you. Since it is people like yourselves who protected all of us. Now we have good times ahead I believe.’
And the performance appeared to have struck some emotion within the stage wings, as Ant and Dec watched in awe – with Ant even wiping a tear from his cheek.

The hosting duo ran onto stage to finally press the buzzer after a performance from 49-year-old Keiichi Iwasaki, a magician from Japan.
Keiichi performed a series of tricks and illusions for the audience, even getting each Ant and Dec and Alesha involved on stage.
After a standing ovation and positive response, the pair exclaimed ‘wait!’ as they rushed onto stage to provide Keiichi their golden buzzer – which mechanically sends him to the semi-final.

The performer was in shock over the gesture, as he excitedly hugged Ant and Dec – showing his gratitude.
Elsewhere within the show was an act which had the judges on the sides of their seats, as American JD Anderson used his body to interrupt baseball bats, before smashing through panels of ice along with his head.
The world-record holding strongman impressed the judges along with his fearless performance, even leaving some members of the audience afraid to have a look at points.
David said that he would ‘always remember’ the jaw-dropping act, as the opposite judges gushed in awe.
Earlier, nine-year-old singer Immi Davis wowed with a powerhouse performance of I Put a Spell on You by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins – leaving the room gobsmacked as she soared through the audition process.
It wasn’t quite the identical story for 18-year-old entertainer Tommy J, who made it through the audition with somewhat help from Ant and Dec.

The performer, who rode a unicycle while jugging knives and fire, did not impress Simon enough for a yes – leaving the choice with the opposite three judges.
While it was a no brainer for David, Alesha let the audience determine for her, who shouted yet, while Amanda had a troublesome time deciding his fate.
But because it looked prefer it could’ve all been over for Tommy, Ant and Dec shouted from the wings as they expressed their desire for him to progress – with Amanda giving in, saying: ‘We do not do enough for Ant and Dec so it is a yes’.

Because it became clear they’d twisted his leg, Simon laughed and admitted he felt ‘really silly’.
