Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber are picture of elegance at George and Amal Clooney’s Albie Awards

George and Amal Clooney played host at the Clooney Foundation For Justice Inaugural Albie Awards on the Latest York Public Library in Latest York City on Thursday.

The awards, which honor individuals who have devoted their lives to justice, were named after Justice Albie Sachs, a lawyer and former judge who was imprisoned for his fight to finish apartheid in South Africa. 

Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber, whose been a longtime friend and business associate of the acclaimed actor and director, were among the many celebrities to point out off their impeccable fashion sense while lending their support to the cause.

Dressed to the nines, the couple also showed off their undeniable chemistry once they hit the red carpet ahead of the event.

Crawford, 56, showed off her fab figure in a shiny black gown that criss-crossed across the neck while hugging her toned curves.

The legendary catwalk queen, who helped put the ‘super’ within the ‘supermodel’ term within the Eighties and 90s, also donned a pair of black open-toe heels, as she held on to a trendy clutch purse.

Rounding out her ensemble, the Illinois native had her brown tresses styled long and flowing well past her shoulder with a slight pair on the left.

Gerber, 60, was her perfect match decked put in a classic black suit that he matched with a white dress shirt, black tie and dress shoes.

The loved up couple, who just celebrated their twenty fourth wedding anniversary this past May, packed on the PDA with a loving touch while on the red carpet together.

For probably the most part, Crawford had her right hand wrapped round her husband’s arm while striking various poses.

Eventually, she went solo for just a few photos, which included flashing her infectious smile towards the adoring cameras.

At one point, Crawford and Gerber were joined on the red carpet by the hosts of the evening: George and Amal Clooney.

Known for having a keen fashion eye, the 61-year-old George didn’t disappoint once more wearing a handsome black tuxedo with a white shirt and glossy dress shoes.

Amal, a 44-year-old lawyer specializing in international law and human rights, was the image of elegance in a gold and silver fringe gown, and matching heels.

Over time, the Clooneys have devoted a few of their time and resources to the concept of justice being the rule, reasonably than the exception, to all.

It took over a yr of planning to arrange the awards show, and help people who needed to be on the event get the correct assistance, in response to Access Hollywood. 

Several justice defenders from around the globe were honored on the Albie Awards, including Justice Albie Sachs who received the Lifetime Achievement Award;  Filipino journalist Maria Ressa was honored with the Justice For Journalists Award; and Dr. Josephine Kulea of the Samburu Girls Foundation, a Kenyan-based organization, received the Justice For Women Award.

The event may also feature such high-profile guests as Michelle Obama, Meryl Streep, Dua Lipa, John Oliver, Julia Roberts, amongst others.

The Clooneys founded the Clooney Foundation For Justice as a way to protect human rights and to be sure nobody is above the law, all while providing resources to victims of human rights abuses.
