Club closing in on re-signing Leeds player

Published:

Mateusz Bogusz, the Leeds outcast who spent last season on loan with Ibiza, is reportedly near signing for the second-tier club, based on the Spanish publication Diario De Ibiza. That’s despite recent remarks made by Jesse Marsch.

Bogusz, 20, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury firstly of the yr, is nearly fully recovered.

He was a standout for Ibiza on loan throughout the first a part of the season, making 22 appearances in league and cup play and contributing to 11 goals.

Nevertheless, the injury cut short his season. He has a contract with Leeds through the summer of 2019. He’s now there.

But Ibiza is now drawing closer to his arrival. The playmaker watched Ibiza’s weekend loss to Mallorca on penalties from the stands.

Marsch made a suggestion last week that he might observe Bogusz while he recovers before making a call about him.

Nevertheless, it now seems that the Pole will probably be going back to Spain to play for Ibiza over again, possibly permanently.

At this point in his profession, Bogusz must exit and play. Before getting injured, he did that at Ibiza with 22 games on the horizon.

A change is essential because Leeds isn’t more likely to extend his contract past the summer.

The target is for him to re-join a team where he knows he’ll play a number of games. Each Bogusz and Ibiza like him.
