Giants’ Kadarius Toney not prone to playing versus Cowboys

Published:

Wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and DL Leonard Williams (knee) didn’t practice Saturday and are listed as doubtful on the ultimate injury report.

Head coach Brian Daboll said it’s “often tough” to play someone who hasn’t practiced the ultimate two days of the week, as is the case with Toney, who was downgraded from a limited participant Thursday to a non-participant Friday before the Giants play the Cowboys on Monday night.

“We’re just attempting to do right by the player,” Daboll said, “and he didn’t do anything for walk-through, so we downgraded him.”

Williams’ streak of 112 straight games played to start out his profession is prone to end. If Toney doesn’t play, it should be his eighth profession game out of 20 missed attributable to various injuries, which upsets the vocal minority of Giants fans on Toney’s social media timeline.

“I keep to myself …ion kare [don’t care] for opinions … half that sh– be a narrative anyway …” Toney wrote on Twitter after he was not seen within the locker room by the media.
