Jessica Alves has revealed she ‘wasn’t mentally well’ when she took part in Celebrity Big Brother back in 2018.
The TV personality, 39, who was still known by her birth name of Rodrigo when she did the show, said she desired to wear women’s clothes on the time but felt she couldn’t and it was a particularly ‘painful’ time for her.
Chatting with MailOnline, Jessica said she would love the possibility to do Big Brother again now that the show is returning to screens in 2023.

She said: ‘I wasn’t well on the time. I make transitioning look glam however it’s not. When you see pictures, it was a painful time for me.
‘I desired to wear women’s clothes but I could not. I wasn’t in the best mind set.’
Jessica, who got here out as transgender in 2020, took part in Big Brother alongside celebrities including Kirstie Alley, Gabby Allen and eventual winner Ryan Thomas.
Nevertheless, her time in the home was short-lived as she given a proper warning by producers for using the n-word on day two and was later ejected following a ‘further incident’.

However the experience hasn’t put Jessica off the show because the star told how she’d like to do the fact series again.
She said: ‘I’d like to do Big Brother again now that I’m mentally well. I’m in a a lot better place and I’d love to indicate people the brand new, happier me.’
Jessica has been candid about her transition, saying her previously secret want to live as a girl could have cost her her life.
Speaking on ITV’s This Morning, she said: ‘I must have seen a psychologist but as a substitute I self-medicated with hormones after which I used to be at an event having drinks and the subsequent thing I knew I used to be in hospital.

‘Anyone at home who has been going through gender dysphoric disorder don’t self-medicate, go see a physician.’
‘I live in England but I don’t do my treatment here I do it abroad because there aren’t many individuals who do know this here.’
Jessica, who became known worldwide for a surgery addiction that saw the star spend £600,000 to change her looks, added: ‘I attempted my best to be a male but failed badly because I wasn’t blissful.
‘I carried on those plastic surgeries because I actually desired to be a girl… I actually have gender identity dysphoria I actually have been treating it.’
Of her regrets, Jessica ontinued: ‘I do regret having the fake six pack and arms, I do wish I had the strength in those days to see a psychiatrist and folks to assist me in that journey.’

‘I get a whole lot of attention from men once I am out in public, on my Instagram and on my OnlyFans, but I’m still a single woman.’
While she feels that she’s ‘accomplished’ her transformation into the lady she’s at all times desired to be, Jessica once more shared her craving for the 2 things missing in her life – a husband and youngsters.
