Newman’s initial application was denied.
‘I even have been the kids’s primary caretaker since their birth and the kids have spent the big majority of 2020 in my sole custody,’ Newman said in court docs.
The filing got here six months after King filed to divorce the director after a twelve-year marriage, requesting a brief restraining order and domestic violence prevention petition, in keeping with court docs.
King told the court that Newman had been keeping their sons away from her, and subsequently denied accusations that her behavior put their children in peril.
