Nemo then reveals to a fellow student that she’d never been to high school before, as an alternative living together with her father (Kyle Chandler) in a lighthouse before he disappeared.

Uncle Phillip shows Nemo old videos of her father from when he was a baby.

Though Nemo falls asleep, she wakes as much as her stuffed animal pig, now alive, kissing her cheek.

Her bed then grows giant legs and crawls its way through the busy city streets, headed for a big body of water.

The bed transports her to Slumberland, a magic world of Flip’s (Momoa) design.
