Jeremy Lin makes profession decision after botched NBA comeback


A few years ago, Jeremy Lin got here close to creating a highly-anticipated return to the league. The one-time NBA champ joined the Golden State Warriors’ NBA G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, in 2021 with the hopes of being called as much as the large leagues. Unfortunately for him, that never got here to fruition, and he has now made a serious decision in his profession.

In accordance with basketball reporter Zhang Duo, Lin has now agreed to return to the Chinese Basketball Association for a 3rd straight season:

Lin might be joining the Guangzhou Loonglions, but the small print of his contract weren’t revealed. This move follows a two-year stint with the Beijing Geese also of the CBA.

Now at 34, this recent move by Jeremy Lin seems like the ultimate straw by way of his dream to return to the NBA. Father Time is catching up with the previous Latest York Knicks sensation (could anyone ignore Linsanity?), and it looks like we’ve already seen Lin play in his last NBA game.

In nine years within the league, Lin was a journeyman who played for a minimum of eight different teams. There is no such thing as a doubt, nonetheless, that his most memorable stint got here throughout the 2011-12 season with the Knicks when he took the league by storm as a previously unknown second-year combo guard.
