John Mayer and Serena Williams were just two of the various stars who descended on Miami’s Art Basel for the launch of Audemars Piguet’s recent Starwheel watch.

Mayer, 45, who made headlines for having dinner with 22-year-old Kiernan Shipka earlier this month, was all smiles posing with the 41-year-old tennis legend.

Mayer also posed with Audemars Piguet Americas CEO Ginny Wright and Williams on the Miami event for the brand new Code 11.59 Starwheel watch, which retails for $57,900.

Mayer stepped out with a plain white-t-shirt under a brown suede button-up shirt for the event.

He accomplished his look with brown pants and dark brown leather boots for the annual Miami event.

The clean-shaven singer had his sleeves barely rolled up to disclose his small flower blossom tattoo on his right wrist.

The tennis legend accomplished her look with a pair of tan platform pumps for the Miami bash.

Mayer also posed with Audemars Pigut CEO François-Henry Bennahmias and Benjamin Clymer, founding father of the luxurious watch/lifestyle website Hodinkee.

The brand new Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 Starwheel relies on a timekeeping system often called ‘wandering hours,’ which was first developed for Pope Alexander VII in 1655.

The Pope was said to be ‘aggravated’ by the ticking clock and tasked watchmakers The Campani Brothers to construct a silent ‘night clock’ he could read at midnight, based on Forbes, an idea that has been refined by Audemars Piguet for this recent $57,900 timepiece.
