Newcastle’s seek for a latest attacker has been discussed by Sky Sports’ Pete Graves on the Transfer Talk Podcast.
The Magpies are looking for a latest forward this summer, as lots of their supporters are aware. Hugo Ekitike, Alexander Isak, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have all been mentioned in reference to them, but they’ve yet to make any significant progress on this front.
Scamacca and Armando Broja are two more players on Newcastle’s goal list, but sadly for the Magpies, West Ham are also curious about each players.
West Ham at the moment are more more likely to sign Broja, although Graves has stated that a deal for Scamacca could also be within the works if the Broja deal goes through.
“They desperately need a striker, a young striker who could play second fiddle to Callum Wilson. There are players on the list. Funny you mention West Ham, Broja, there was an interest there and Scamacca was one other one in Italy, I’m wondering if West Ham sign certainly one of those if Newcastle go for the opposite one. That shall be fascinating to see,” Graves said.
Scamacca could be a terrific alternative for Newcastle and will find yourself being the striker they eventually sign.
The Italian is a highly rangy forward, just like Calvert-Lewin and Isak, but he also has a really lethal shot and a really unique variety of play.
