Journalist says Tottenham may sign one other Everton star

Published:

Graeme Bailey identified Jordan Pickford as a possible goal for Spurs while he was discussing the transfer negotiations between Tottenham and Everton on the Talking Transfers Podcast.

This summer, Everton and Tottenham have already conducted some business. Richarlison has already joined the club in north London, and more could follow.

Anthony Gordon is supposedly a goal for Spurs, while Everton are also eager about each Steven Bergwijn and Harry Winks.

The negotiations between these two teams, nonetheless, couldn’t be over just yet. In line with Bailey, Antonio Conte’s team may attempt to sign Jordan Pickford next summer after asking in regards to the situation with the goalkeeper.

“Yet another name that I forgot to drop in there, Tottenham didn’t enquire about him, but they desired to know the position of him, desired to know where he was at, Jordan Pickford who long-term is a player they just like the look of. Lloris may have one 12 months left, in order that’s one we must always control, Tottenham and Pickford. The fireplace sale at Goodison will not be over,” Bailey said.

Hugo Lloris won’t be around permanently, and Jordan Pickford is perhaps the best substitute.

The goalie has established himself within the Premier League for several seasons now, has great distribution, and is a man who really shines on the largest stages—in spite of everything, he’s been one in all England’s best performers for a very long time.

Tottenham don’t really should add a goalkeeper this summer, but since Lloris is towards the tip of his profession, it could be an excellent idea for them to control Pickford’s status in case they resolve to make a move.
