And on Monday, Julia Morris revealed the surprising TV opportunity that helped her reach the very best echelons of Australian showbiz.
The 54-year-old, who has been nominated for a Gold Logie this yr, told TV Week, that winning Celebrity Apprentice in 2011 ‘was an amazing turning point’ for her carer.

‘It was an amazing turning point. I used to be in my early 40s, living in Los Angeles on the time, chipping my way through the system,’ she said.
‘I flew home for Celebrity Apprentice and once I realised I’d won, I said to my family, “I believe it is time to ride this wave”. I didn’t know if there’d be a wave but that was it.’

Julia has been nominated for the 2022 Gold Logie alongside Today show host Karl Stefanovic, MasterChef judge Melissa Leong, Big Brother host Sonia Kruger, Home And Away star Ray Meagher, LEGO Masters host Hamish Blake and Hard Quiz star Tom Gleeson.
In 2013, she was announced as the brand new host of Australia’s Got Talent and two years later Julia began co-hosting I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! alongside Dr Chris Brown.
She hosted dating show Blind Date on Network 10 in 2018.
