Racing royalty Kate Waterhouse doesn’t let the weather get in the best way of her fashionable outfit decisions.
Despite the sweltering heat in Sydney, the horse racing reporter, 39, rocked as much as the Longines Golden Slipper Day at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday in a long-sleeved woollen suit.
The daughter of famous horse trainer Gai Waterhouse looked as stylish as ever within the grey Fendi suit, which is valued at an eye-watering $9,550.
It contains a long-sleeved woolen dark-grey blazer with light-grey silk sleeves and a silk wraparound belt.
On the underside, she donned the matching woolen wide-leg dark grey suit trousers.

The interesting outfit also featured a protracted silk train that touched right to the bottom, adding to the heavily layered look.
The fashionista paired the luxurious suit with a yellow Serpenti east-west Bulgari bag, which could be bought for $4,900.
On her feet, she seemed to be wearing Valentino Garavani black patent-leather platform pumps, which cost $2,810.

Keeping all eyes on the Fendi outfit, she kept accessories to a minimum with a pair of oversized gold-framed sunglasses and a skinny black hairband.
She wore her long blonde locks down and straight and tucked one side behind her ear, showing off a small stud pearl earring.
For her makeup, the fashionista opted for a winged black eyeliner with a deep nude lip.
The Longines Golden Slipper Day is one in every of the most important days on Sydney’s racing calendar and it often sees the most important celebrities and socialites descend to Rosehill Gardens.
On Saturday afternoon, Kate was joined by Today host Karl Stefanovic, Bachelor stars Jimmy Nicholson and Holly Kingston, Lucia Hawley, and Home and Away star Matt Evans amongst others.
