She handled the identical subject material within the 2010 A&E reality series Kirstie Alley’s Big Life, which chronicled her try and shed pounds and launch a weight-loss program while working as a single mother in an unconventional household that included pet lemurs.

Alley said she agreed to do the show partially due to misinformation about her that had change into a tabloid staple.

‘Anything bad you’ll be able to say about me, they are saying I’ve never collapsed, fainted, passed out. Principally, anything they’ve said, I never. The one true thing is I got fat.’

‘You’ll be able to be cooking meth and sleeping with hookers but so long as you didn’t vote for Trump [you’re fine],’ she told Carlson.

‘I feel like I’m within the ‘Twilight Zone’ a bit with the entire concept of it.’

‘I’m voting for Donald Trump because he’s NOT a politician,’ she wrote on Twitter.

She said, ‘I’ll say it’s certainly one of the toughest things I’ve ever done, the toughest decision I’ve ever made because I used to be head over heels in love with him – we were fun and funny together. It wasn’t a sexual relationship because I’m not going to cheat on my husband.

‘But, , I believe there are things which can be way worse than sexual relationships, than cheating on someone that way. I consider what I did even worse because I actually let myself fall in love with him and stay in love with him for a very long time.’

She said that on one occasion, Preston confronted her about her flirty behavior toward Travolta.

‘Kelly got here as much as me – they usually were married then – and he or she said, ‘Erm, why are you flirting with my husband?’ Alley said. ‘And that was form of once I needed to make a choice and that was just about the tip of that.’
