Liverpool have launched their recent third kit for the 2022-23 season, two days before their first Champions League game of the campaign. 

The striking shirt, made by Nike, is basically teal with shiny red trim and can cost supporters nearly £70, with shorts costing almost £35 and socks almost £15.

It’s being released with a 97-star banner by flag-making fan Mark Sweatman, each star corresponding to the club’s away victories or trophy wins in Europe and every of their respective locations.

The minute-long launch video, released on social media, was filmed on the Olympia, an iconic post-European match venue.

Local band The Low-cost Thrills supply the soundtrack to the video.

The back of the jersey has the 97 emblem encased by the Everlasting Flames, in memory of those that lost their lives at Hillsborough.
