Gemma Owen has been unveiled as one in every of the Love Island 2022 contestants just weeks after denying she was participating within the show.

The 19-year-old beauty, who’s daughter to England football pro Michael Owen and his wife Louise Bonsall, had said weeks ago that her famous dad ‘would not be very completely satisfied in any respect if I got here back and said “I’m happening Love Island.”‘

She also previously revealed she was ‘not on the lookout for love’ but Gemma has since modified her mind – little question leaving her father concerned about her signing.

‘A few of the challenges on Love Island, they’re quite on the market. I’m unsure I might give you the chance to kiss 10 boys in a row but I do think it’s an incredible show.’

‘But at the identical time, I’m not going to mess up something for somebody who’s in a correct relationship or get in the way in which of a pair in the event that they have a real connection. I wouldn’t do anything to a different girl that I wouldn’t be completely satisfied with them doing to me.

‘I might say I’m fun, flirty and fiery. I feel I’m good at giving advice, I’m an excellent person to consult with, I’m very honest. If I need the identical guy, I’d do it but in a pleasant respectful way.’
