Wout Weghorst believes he’s the ‘best striker on this planet’ in a glance into the mentality of Manchester United’s recent frontman.
Speaking exclusively to Express Sport, Weghorst’s former coach Dean Whitehead has hailed Weghorst.
He said: “He’s a top player, but above all, his mentality is elite. He still believes he might be the perfect striker on this planet, which is an incredible attitude for somebody who began late in the sport.
“He works non-stop throughout the day and can give all of it within the morning, then do drills afterwards, after which hit the gym. His mentality is top, top level.”
The 30-year-old is in line to make his United debut tonight at Crystal Palace.
