NBA commissioner Adam Silver will miss Game 5 of the finals on Monday on account of the league’s health and safety protocols, the NBA announced Monday.
Health and safety protocols previously affected the ESPN broadcast team for the series between the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics, with Mike Breen missing the primary two games and Jeff Van Gundy missing Game 1 after testing positive for COVID-19.
The series is tied 2-2 after the Warriors won Game 4 in Boston. Game 5 suggestions at 9 p.m. ET.
