Stephen Curry’s journey within the NBA has been anything but easy. Having been drafted by the Golden State Warriors within the 2009 NBA Draft, most expected Curry to be a solid starter within the league. But that was the extent to it.
Nobody thought that Curry would sooner or later change the NBA along with his 3-point shooting ability. On top of that, he has now won 4 NBA Championships in his profession, together with quite a few other accolades.
Although Curry is now 34 years old, he has taken excellent care of his body; he can still manage to win a few more rings with the Warriors before saying goodbye to the NBA.
There are various other players on this generation who may need a greater resume or individual stats than Steph. But what they wouldn’t have is a fully perfect profession within the NBA.
An NBA fan praised Curry for never demanding a trade from the Warriors or asking the franchise to trade away players. This definitely got here in the sunshine of Curry’s former teammate Kevin Durant demanding a trade from the Brooklyn Nets after spending just three seasons with the team.
No trade requests
No team hopping
No trading teammates
No outside drama
Just basketball excellence.
Within the modern-day NBA, no superstar within the league is shy of requesting a trade from their franchise in the event that they feel they don’t seem to be ready to win. While Curry has never team-hopped or requested a trade from the Warriors, the reality is he was never required to achieve this.
That is not a shot at Curry’s loyalty to the Warriors. However the indisputable fact that the Warriors have done their perfect at all the time ensuring that he’s surrounded by great players is certainly one of the explanations Steph has never felt the necessity to depart the Dubs.
No matter that, it doesn’t take anything away from what Curry has achieved within the NBA. He’s top-of-the-line players to ever play within the NBA, and by the point he retires, he may need a fair higher resume than what he has as of now.
