NBA Fans Argue On ‘Who Is The Best Player Here?’ Between Trae Young, Devin Booker, Jayson Tatum, And Ja Morant: “Ja Morant Is A Tier Above The Rest Of These Guys.”

Published:

Trae Young, Devin Booker, Jayson Tatum, and Ja Morant have just a few things in common. Not only are they thought to be amongst the perfect young players within the NBA, but all 4 of them were also voted into All-NBA teams this past season, with Booker and Tatum getting first-team honors.

Picking the perfect player between the 4 of them just isn’t a sure bet by any means, so when the query was posed by Hoop Central, NBA fans were very divided with their opinions.

“Ja Morant is a tier above the remainder of those guys.”

“Can we stop disrespecting Tatum”

“Dbook- people forget how he made the finals last 12 months, same position as Tatum. Dbook also had higher stats Within the finals then Tatum. Ja and Trae haven’t gotten there yet. The winner goes to the duvet of Nba 2k23”

“When you concentrate on defense is 50% of the sport, the reply is pretty obvious”

“Hot take Ja is everyone else is a playoff choker”

“Stop comparing Tatum to players who’re a lower tier than him”

“Booker. Last years playoffs and finals and this whole season minus the playoff collapse has been epic”

“Tatum’s the perfect scorer, defender, rebounder, and shooter here”

“Tatum and I personally don’t think it’s close”

“Healthy id pick ja”

“Trae does probably the most for his team, ja jumps the very best, book probably the most expert tatum the perfect throughout potential sensible but dont show up like trae or ja. Traes probably the most consistent but book is “higher””

“Ja Morant he’s clearly probably the most talented and athletic of the group”

“Tre is the perfect one. He can rating 50 and drop 20 dimes.. and do not give me he don’t play D.. cause none of those dudes play D.. well Tatum a lil bit but that is bout it”

“Ja the perfect individual player but Memphis plays higher without him as a team. So i say Book is the highest on the list. Tatum, Ja then Trae.”

“Ja easily. If he would’ve been healthy we probably would’ve had a special champion this 12 months”

“They’re all comparable but JT wins by default to the scale advantage. When skills are relatively close, gotta go w/ the larger guy.”

“Booker the just one to have back to back 40 games within the finals 🤷🏿‍♂️”

“Tatum… Dude was statistically third best defender within the playoffs… And rebounds… He gets 0 credit for this though”

“Trae young it isn’t even close”

“Ja, if Tatum starts facilitating more then he’d easily be the perfect”

Tatum’s run to the NBA Finals perhaps gives him the sting here for now. He was simply sensational for the Celtics till the Conference Finals and one bad series should not be held against him, even when it was on the largest stage. He’s confident they’ll win all of it next 12 months and expect a a lot better showing from him in the event that they do manage to get to the Finals.

Just as Tatum struggled in a single series, the identical applies to Booker and Young, as each have excelled these last two seasons except for their performances against Dallas and Miami respectively. We can even only wonder what Ja Morant could have done to the Warriors this past postseason, as he had averaged 38.3 points in the primary 3 games of their series before happening with an injury.

There’s a case to be made for all of them and the one thing to come back out of all that is that the league is in superb hands moving forward!
