NBA Twitter reacts to the Nets’ thrilling victory over the Blazers

The Brooklyn Nets won a nail-bitter against the Trail Blazers on Thursday night, and offseason acquisition Royce O’Neale sealed the sport with a final second tip-in in Portland.

Superstar Kevin Durant shot the lights out for the Nets scoring a formidable 35 points. As a team, the Nets shot greater than 10 percent higher than the Damian Lillard-led Blazers.

Brooklyn’s playmaking was the important thing difference within the victory, as Brooklyn dished 10 more assists than Portland. Ben Simmons produced his best stat line of the season thus far, recording 15 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists.

Sharpshooter Joe Harris appeared to be back in form tonight, hitting half of his shots from behind the arch.

That is 16 straight games with no less than 25 points to start out the season for Kevin Durant 😤

The Nets must be very encouraged with what they saw from Ben Simmons. And Watanabe looks like a key a part of the rotation.

KD on Ben Simmons’ performance (15/13/7) & 4th quarter free throws:

“He shot them like he was confident. Ran back down court like he knew it was entering into. He did all of it for us tonight. I’m excited for him. That is the sort of game all of us needed to see.”pic.twitter.com/7V8OEvjYvK
