Newcastle offered likelihood to sign ‘sensible’ EPL midfielder

Leander Dendoncker has reportedly been offered to Newcastle amid reports that a last-minute transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Everton has fallen through.

Though they haven’t been spending as much money as many had hoped, the Magpies have had a productive period.

While a everlasting agreement for Matt Targett has been reached, Nick Pope, Sven Botman, and Alexander Isak have already arrived.

Unless a beautiful opportunity arises, Newcastle won’t be overly busy on deadline day, and Eddie Howe appears to have been promised a Premier League midfielder.

Leander Dendoncker, a midfielder for Wolverhampton Wanderers, has reportedly been courted by Newcastle ahead of tonight’s deadline, based on The Athletic.

Newcastle could have already been searching for a holding midfielder despite Bruno Guimaraes’ injury.

A defensive-minded anchor man behind Bruno and Joelinton might make sense moving forward because Bruno performs best when given the chance to maneuver forward.

Dendoncker can be an excellent fit for Newcastle in this case, however it is now as much as them to determine whether or to not make a move.

In accordance with The Every day Mail, Dendoncker has been pursued by Everton, but a cope with the Toffees has now fallen through.

Dendoncker is reportedly still concerned about leaving Wolves, but since a transfer to Everton is unlikely, he is likely to be counting on Newcastle to make a move.

The Belgian joined Wolves from Anderlecht in 2018, and has since made greater than 150 appearances.
