Offensive highlight: Broncos wide receiver Seth Williams made probably the most of his opportunities Saturday evening, ending with 4 receptions from five targets for 68 yards, including a notable 45-yard reception. Two of his receptions resulted in first downs, and the Auburn product caught his only contested catch opportunity, culminating in a powerful 75.0-plus receiving grade on first review.
Defensive highlight: Vikings interior defender Esezi Otomewo put together a notable performance despite the loss, as he finished with a stop while totaling a pressure and two pass-rush wins that did not end in a pressure. Otomewo posted a 75.0-plus overall grade on first review.
Rookie highlight: Broncos rookie edge defender Nik Bonitto showed off his ability to affect the passer Saturday night, ending with two sacks and a forced fumble. Bonitto’s sacks got here on back-to-back plays for the Denver defense and helped it put the ending touches on a winning performance.
Early offensive line evaluation: The Broncos offensive line didn’t allow a sack all evening, and tackle Calvin Anderson was a notable performer, allowing zero total pressures across 22 pass-blocking snaps (including penalties).
