Considered one of the largest issues for Seattle

Considered one of the largest issues for the Seahawks’ offense today has been protection, as Geno Smith has been under near-constant pressure. He’s been sacked twice (1.5 by Nick Bosa) and hit nine times (five by Bosa) on 26 dropbacks. Left guard Damien Lewis (thigh), who missed Week 1 with an injury, left in the primary half Sunday and has now been ruled out.

That is speculative however it is true that he’s barely playing today:

Cardinals linebacker Isaiah Simmons got here into the season wearing the green dot on his helmet because the defensive player with the radio to the sidelines. In line with TruMedia, he has only played 4 snaps today as a sub with no indication of any injuries. Could Simmons be considered a liability in coverage for the Cardinals facing Darren Waller after issues with Travis Kelce in Week 1?

Seattle just scored in vintage fashion: Halting the 49ers at their very own goal line, then blocking a 49ers field goal and returning the ball for a touchdown. 49ers are leading the offensive battle 313 yards to 148 through nearly three quarters.

Broncos cannot find their way into the endzone

Including two trips by which they settled for field goals (up to now) today against the Texans, the Broncos have didn’t rating a TD on each of their five goal-to-go drives this season.

It’s probably the most such possessions with out a TD this season.

Raiders open goal distribution in 20-0 lead over Cardinals

After Davante Adams was targeted 17 times — he had 10 catches for 141 yards and a touchdown — in Week 1, he was targeted just 4 times in the primary half Sunday and caught two passes for 12 yards and a touchdown. The goal distribution has been far more at the same time as the Raiders take a 20-0 lead over the Cardinals into halftime.

Mack Hollins leads with seven targets and has five catches for 66 yards. Darren Waller, Renfrow and Adams are next with 4 targets each. Waller has three catches for 35 yards and a TD and Renfrow has three catches for 32 yards. No. 2 tight end Foster Moreau, who was not targeted last week, has caught all three passes thrown his way for 30 yards.

As Vic Tafur detailed, the Raiders’ offense is ready up in order that Josh McDaniels’ play calls often dictate where Derek Carr throws the ball. He seems to have adjusted his game plan on this one.
