The pivotal Week 17 game was suspended in the primary quarter Monday night when Damar Hamlin, now a household name, suffered a cardiac arrest on the sector, having to be revived with CPR before being transported to the nearby University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Shortly after, the league postponed the rest of the sport, which can no longer be finished.

The league is exploring ways they’ll treatment the sport not being played, with scenarios include calling the sport a tie, calling the sport a no contest and using a random number generator to find out seedings, having the AFC Championship game be held at a neutral site if it involve the Bills, Bengals or Chiefs, in addition to even expanding to a 8-team playoff.
