NHS prescription charges were frozen this 12 months, but at £9.35 per prescription the associated fee soon adds up.

A recent report has found that if NHS prescription charges rise inline with the associated fee of living, by 2035 they might cost £13.

Moreover, if Government proposals to boost the age that folks get free prescriptions inline with state pension age get the green light, 1000’s of over 60s in England will probably be faced with this shocking charge too.

That is despite the indisputable fact that NHS prescriptions are free for everybody in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, irrespective of what their age.
