Rihanna has confirmed she will likely be headlining the 2023 Super Bowl half-time show.

The singer, 34, announced the large news Sunday by sharing a photograph of her tattooed arm clasping a football. The post received nearly 700 thousand likes in the primary 20 minutes including one from Lizzo, who wrote ‘screaming.’ 

The NFL also Tweeted the large news with the identical snap and the message ‘Let’s GO-#SBLVII’

This comes after the Diamonds singer turned down the chance to perform on the Super Bowl in 2019.  The superstar said she declined the invitation due to the way in which Colin Kaepernick had been treated. 

The previous San Francisco 49er refused to face for the US national anthem in the beginning of games to protest police brutality and racial inequality. After he became a free agent, no teams signed him. 

The quarterback sued the NFL in November 2017, accusing team owners of collusion in not hiring him.
