Stephanie Davis has revealed she suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage in an emotional Instagram post shared along with her followers on Saturday.
The actress, 29, had not announced publicly she and her partner Joe Mckalroy were expecting despite fan speculation in recent weeks.
The previous Hollyoaks star, who’s mother to son Caben, five, miscarried at three months, saying she woke up one morning and ‘didn’t feel pregnant anymore’.
She wrote: ‘I didn’t need to post about this until I used to be ready, I don’t think I ever can be or anyones is who goes through this but here goes.

‘In order my beautiful followers loads of you had asked if I used to be pregnant some time back once I wasn’t on the rides at Southport and you furthermore may noticed loads of things, well you were right, we were having a baby! I used to be pregnant.
‘We came upon from so, so early on it felt like we were pregnant for sooo long. If you happen to remember I got here off social media for some time, it was because we had a miscarriage. I used to be nearly nearly 12 weeks pregnant (3 months).
‘I had sickness from early on (bad, bad sickness lol I used to be so nauseous and vomiting) and crazy hormones so it felt a protracted time with our baby.

‘I began getting really bad headaches one night and the subsequent morning I woke up and I said to Joe and my mum and Joe’s mum that I didn’t feel pregnant anymore, they know the way I’m and thought I used to be overly worrying and the newborn could be nice as on our previous scans the newborn’s heartbeat was beating beautifully. ‘The anxiety, the heartbreak and the sadness we’ve got passed through was horrendous. Me and Joe were so excited and already had visioned and planned a life with our family of 4.
‘I used to be already what I used to be doing for my baby shower. You’re thinking that whenever you get further on like I used to be that all the things can be okay, so it was an enormous shock.

‘After they told us there was no heartbeat anymore I don’t really remember much after that just totally heartbroken.
‘I needed to have an operation to have our baby removed as was further on, I couldn’t have gotten though all of it without my absolute rock, Joe. My mum, Joe’s mum, Jane, and Cath were amazing, and our family’s and my management’s support.
‘After the operation I used to be so numb and empty and my hormones were all over. It was hard to just accept there was nothing there anymore and our journey we were on was over. Joe was my rock and I like you more on daily basis ❤️.

‘We’re OK, & we’ve got got through all of it as family. Sooner or later we are going to expand our little family when the time is correct ❤️.’
