Over the past three season, perhaps no wide receiver in football has done more with lower than Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin.

Now he’s being reward for it. Based on ESPN’s Adam Schefter, McLaurin has agreed to a three-year extension value as much as $71 million. The deal makes him among the many top-five highest-paid wide receivers in the sport.

McLaurin will receive a $28 million signing bonus, probably the most ever given to a large receiver, per Schefter.

Fans were loving the incontrovertible fact that Washington finally paid its star wide receiver. Others aren’t sure how for much longer McLaurin will play within the nation’s capitol.

“Price every dime, but I feel it’s telling that it’s only a 3-year extension and never 5 years. Wonder if he’s undecided he desires to be tied to Was for that long but still desires to receives a commission,” one fan said.

Others are only glad he is not going anywhere – yet. “YESSIR THATS MY CAPTAIN,” a fan said.

Much more fans are only joyful something positive finally happened to the franchise. “Finally something good coming from this team,” a fan said.

McLaurin will likely lead the Commanders in receiving once more this season. And yet again, it should be with a latest quarterback.
