The Chase fans baffled as ITV waits ‘three years’ to release episode ‘Looks very strange’ | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Published:

Steve, Simon, Kelly, and Donna were welcomed onto the newest instalment of The Chase by host Bradley Walsh. Nonetheless, because the episode got underway, eagle-eyed viewers noticed the episode was filmed “three years ago” and wondered why it had not been aired before.

Glaswegian Steve was the primary player to face the Chaser after he raised £4,000 in his money builder round.

Bradley introduced Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis as “the brand new Chaser” on the show though his first episode aired on ITV in November 2020.

Darragh explained he was a former contestant on the ITV programme who had the chance to be trained up as a Chaser.

As Steve made it through to the ultimate with £4,000, viewers quickly realised the episode was filmed back in 2019.

Because the show continued Simon raised £6,000 in his opening round and quickly beat the Chaser to affix Steve in the ultimate.

Following Kelly’s money builder round, she decided to play against Darragh for £1,000, and to her relief, she made it through to the ultimate.

Donna, the ultimate player of the night, bagged £4,000 in her first round and hoped so as to add that to the ultimate prize fund.

She played “brilliantly” and brought the prize money as much as £15,000 as she joined the opposite three contestants.
