The Hammers have launched a €25 million (£21 million) bid for Reims attacker Hugo Ekitike, in line with Le10Sport.
Ekitike has piqued the interest of several in the course of the current transfer window. Tottenham and Newcastle have also been on his radar, and it’s easy to see why so many English clubs are excited about signing this young talent.
He has scored eight goals in only 18 league games to date this season, and at 19, he still has room to enhance.
The forward has previously been characterised as a’very unique’ player, with comparisons to Kylian Mbappe, demonstrating just how highly regarded this young player is.
That is West Ham’s second try to sign Ekitike this month, however it is probably not enough. In spite of everything, his asking price has been reported to be £30 million prior to now.
This month, West Ham would profit greatly from the arrival of a latest striker. Michail Antonio is the Hammers’ lone senior number nine, and even he admits that the team should use a latest center-forward.
Fortunately, it appears just like the London club is desperate to complete the deal, and we may even see some progress in the approaching days.
