third Overall Pick In The 2022 NBA Draft Sends Out A Tweet About Draymond Green

Published:

Draymond Green has been one of the essential players for the Golden State Warriors throughout the course of their dynasty.

He doesn’t put up big scoring numbers (career-high 14.0 points per game), but he does the entire little things well.

His defense is elite, he is a wonderful passer and he’s a pacesetter.

Subsequently, he’s a four-time NBA Champion, and just made his fourth trip to the All-Star Game this past season.

On Tuesday, Houston Rockets rookie Jabari Smith Jr. sent out a tweet about Green.

Smith Jr.: “How can people say Draymond green will not be a hall of famer”

Smith Jr. asks a great query.

While Green’s numbers should not anything sensational, it’s his impact that’s so essential to the sport.

Most individuals would agree that he’s the glue of the Warriors.

They could have superstars Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, but they greater than likely don’t win 4 titles within the last eight seasons without Green.

From 2015-19, the Warriors made the NBA Finals five times in a row, and won three titles in that span.

In 2020 and 2021, they handled injuries, and missed the postseason each years.

This past June, they won the NBA Championship once more, beating the Boston Celtics in six games.

As for Smith Jr., he was the third overall pick within the 2022 NBA Draft in June, and he’s coming off a wonderful season at Auburn.

The 19-year-old averaged 16.9 points and seven.4 rebounds per game during his one season in college.
