Tiny robots with ‘brains’ can walk autonomously inside your body

Scientists have built microscopic robots equipped with electronic “brains” which might be able to walking autonomously.

A team from Cornell University within the US developed the solar-powered bots as a part of research right into a latest generation of tiny devices that may perform roles starting from performing microsurgery, to cleansing the inside arteries.

The microrobots measure just 250 micrometres across – smaller than the top of an ant – and might operate with none external controls.
