Christian Eriksen has been tipped to snub Manchester United and Tottenham this summer.
United and Tottenham could be strongly fascinated about a transfer for Eriksen but Danish TV2 football editor-in-chief Carsten Werge reckons he could easily stay at Brentford.
He told Sky Sports: “We might not be surprised to see Christian stay at Brentford. He has been superb there and he looks very glad on this club with a number of Danish people around him, including the coach Thomas Frank – who is excellent.
“So I feel the sensation around him is that, well, although the cash may very well be larger at the opposite clubs which were mentioned, I do not think this can be a query of cash. It’s a matter about where Christian and his family feel comfortable.
“I imagine that would easily be Brentford.”
