Christian Pulisic has insisted that he is happy to see what the approaching season holds for him at Chelsea after early talks with the club’s latest owner, Todd Boehly, towards the top of last month.

“After all, I need to get more playing time, I need to be on the sphere as much as I can and be the sharpest I may be and fit as well,” he told reporters when quizzed on his Chelsea future while on international duty with america.

“I believe I still got a number of games, but it surely’s at all times something that I’m working at and attempting to be regular at club level as well to place myself in the perfect position to be fit once I come here with the national team.

“At the top of the season, we were capable of meet with them [Chelsea’s new owners] they usually were across the club rather a lot. They’re really good people so I’m excited moving forward.”
