West Ham have joined Aston Villa within the race to sign Matteo Guendouzi from Marseille, in response to reports in France.
The France international has been with the Ligue 1 outfit since 2021 after leaving the Gunners following a fallout with Mikel Arteta. But that hasn’t stopped English clubs from considering a move to bring him back.
Villa have been the most certainly team to launch a bid before the tip of the transfer window. But L’Equipe suggest David Moyes is tracking the 23-year-old ahead of a possible switch.
