Applying for a recent passport could be done online if you happen to require the usual service, or with a paper form out of your local post office.
A regular passport is £75.50 for an adult, and £49 for a toddler, though it should cost you an additional £9.50 if you happen to decide to apply using the paper forms.
The way to get a recent passport quickly
Being prepared is crucial if you happen to need a recent or renewed passport before your holiday, but there are two other ways to hurry up the method if you happen to’ve left it too late.
The very first thing you will have to do is get an appointment at your nearest passport office.
Currently there are only seven offices within the UK that are positioned in:
- London
- Newport
- Peterborough
- Durham
- Belfast
- Glasgow
- Liverpool
When you’ve made an appointment through the Government booking system, you’ll be able to either use the one week fast track service or the net premium service.
